Covid 19 

12th July 2021 

Following the Governments announcement we will be running normally after this date.

Hand sanitiser will still be available bur you will no longer have to sign in upon entry.

May 17th Whipton Hall has reopened under Covid Guidance. 

A copy of our Covid risk assessment can be found on the notice board located in the entrace lobby.

Certain groups and classes are now able to meet under the following rules. 

Covid 19 - Risk assessments must be provided by group organisers prior to restarting classes at the hall. 

1. Masks must be worn when entering the hall and if walking around the hall (to the toilet) unless mask exemption applies.
2. When entering the hall please do not allow people to gather either outside or inside within 2 metres of each. 
3. Please ensure that your group has a QR code to display, this can be created and printed from the Government website, you also need to make sure that every attendee signs into the track and trace book located just inside the main entrance and uses hand sanitiser.
4. If you touch it you must sanitiser it after use - please provide your own anti bac wipes or spray and ensure everything you touch is wiped before you leave the hall (including light switches, door handles, worktops) this includes chairs and tables but not the floor.
5. Social distancing - Please ensure that you maintain social distancing from anyone not in your household or support bubble at all times and adhere to the notices around the hall with regard to maximum users for kitchen/toilets.
6. Capacity - Our current capacity has been set at 30 people this is based on everyone being 2 metres apart , groups of people may be seated together but must be of no more than 6 or two households. 
7. Probably obvious but if you feel unwell or have symptoms of Covid 19 please do not enter the hall. 
8. Toilets - The only toilet in use is the disabled toilet, this should only be used if absolutely necessary. 
9. Kitchen - Is available for use, please sanitise as used and place crockery in the dishwasher trays provided for cleaning (do not handwash).
10. You are responsible for your group, please ensure that all your members follow the restrictions given, it will be your group that is fined if you fail to follow the rules.

Lockdown 3.0 From January 2021 

Whipton Hall is once again closed due to the National Lockdown from January 4th. 

 

Following the Governments annoucement on Monday 7th September 2020 introducing 'The rule of 6' on Monday 14th September, we are pleased to confirm that as a Covid secure envoironment we are able to continue with events, classes and bookings in a safe and socially distanced manner for up to 20 persons.

8th August 2020

we are now covered by the mandatory law on face coverings so please make sure you wear a face covering when inside the hall unless you are eating and drinking or exempt due to age or health conditions.

20th July 2020 

Due to the revised Goverment guidelines published on the 15th of July we are pleased to say that we have changed our capacity to a maximum of 20 people based on everyone social distancing at 2 metres, please ensure that people attending your groups adhere to this.

We are currently working to reopen the hall in line with the Government Guidelines. 

If you are a regular hirer you should have received an email from us about our revised terms and conditions. 

At the current time the hall is only available for two households at one time, this must include any group leader.
